The Coats 1250 Series Laser Guided Wheel Balancers

The Coats 1250 Series Laser Guided Wheel Balancers uses laser light to pinpoint accurate Tape-A-Weight placements and behind the spoke weight placement locations. Three models are available: model 1250-2d which uses an easy to read LED display; model 1250-3d loads all wheel parameters at once with one touch on the display; model 1250-3dv has wide angle video display which makes the machine easier to understand and operate. All models are direct drive using the motor's main shaft to mount the wheel on. This superior system reaches balancing speed quickly, and gives you a faster cycle time without component noise that can result in balancing errors.

• 1. LED display provides operators needed information for all 8 balancing modes. Simultaneous display of static and dynamic data identifies excess residual static imbalance; has easy to read position indicators. Integrated VFD display provides the operator with step-by-step instruction throughout the balancing process.



• 2. Laser guidance eliminates error by displaying exact Tape-A-Weight placement, and behind the spoke weight placement locations.



• 3. Automatic offset and diameter measurement with manual control backups.



• 4. Five second average balancing cycle begins when you lower the hood



• 5. Static, dynamic, four alloy options, behind the spoke (on all modes with inside weight), plus patch balance



• 6. Can be ordered in 28 mm or 40 mm configurations



• 7. No belts to slip or pulleys to wear out



• 8. Wheel weights bin is laid out logically so the weights you use most are at your fingertips



• Specifications: has 8 balancing modes; handles tire diameter up to 44 inches; rim width is 2 to 20 inches; maximum tire weight capacity is 160 lbs.; shaft diameter available is 28 or 40 mm; shaft length is 8 5/8 inches; resolution ounces 0.01; resolution degrees 1.4; accuracy in ounces 0.1; power requirement either 220 volt single phase at 60 hz or 220 volt three phase at 60 hz; foot print 57 inches wide x 50 inches deep; shipping weight 625 lbs.; optional peg kit (8111480) available for storing accesories








• To use any of the 1250 series balancers you need to order at least one of the three available adapter kits shown above. The model 1250-2d version can be ordered with either a 28 mm or 40 mm shaft so you order the Basic Kit, Extended Kit, or the Premium kit in either 28 mm or 40 mm. The 1250-3d and 1250-3dv have 40 mm shafts only. The red dots on the above chart show what items come with each adapter kit.
