Model 2020 Compact Bender

The Model 2020 Compact Bender is a new design that has a precision machined head and handle assembly, the only welds are on the base stand. This added precision allows the new style, heat treated, stress-proof pins to slide in and out with little effort. The center of rotation sits out further from the stand than earlier models, making switch-back bends much easier without the stand getting in the way of your work. These engineering and design changes make this the absolute best Compact Bender ever. The Compact Bender is made in the U.S.A. from the highest quality materials.

• Features/Specifications


• Bends up to 5/16 inch x 2 inch flat, or 5/8 inch solid round or solid square hot rolled mild steel, the sharp right angle bend attachment bends up to 3/16 inch x 2 inch or 1/4 inch x 1 1/4 inch
• Tooling: Each machine includes seven heat treated steel dies for bending solid and flat materials, die sizes from 1 inches up through 3 inches (round and square tubing dies are available options, see below)
• Also included are a die rack, square stop block, heat treated pins, the stand, sharp right angle bend attachment, and instruction manual (instruction manual shows how to use all dies and accesories).
• The unit is 38 1/2 inches high and weighs 65 lbs.
• The ring has more stop positions than on earlier models
• The head on the new model 2020 is positioned out farther from the stand, making reverse bends possible under the head without interfering with the stand. The head is cut and machined out of one piece (with no welding), making the rotation of the handle bend in a flat plane for more precise and consistent parts.
• The center alignment receiver is already part of the bender (currently used with the new style picket twister attachment) , is the foundation for new attachments in the future
• The precision machined handle parts make for better alignment of all holes and easy removal of pins and parts
• The base plate on the bottom of the stand to bolt the unit to the floor is constructed of heavy duty 3/8 inch steel

• Model 238 Pedestal Ring Roller rolls circles and arches from 8 inch diameter and up out of hot rolled mild steel up to a maximum capacity of 3/8 inch thick x 2 inch wide flat stock, and up to 1/2 inch solid square stock
• The 30 inch handwheel drives the heat treated drive roller which in turn forces material over the hydraulically adjusted die rollers, to form an almost infinite number of ring sizes, minimum ring diameter is 4 inches
• The unit will also do 1/2 inch diameter solid round rod and smaller. The factory doesnot make any dies for solid round however. You can make these yourself though. They are solid round with a hole in them to pin into the roller. A groove needs to be machined in the center of the die for round, so the round doesn't roll or slide to either side.
