The Model 5040A/E allows you to quickly work on a variety of applications; smooth operation provides faster floor to floor times. The Coats 5040A/E is also designed to protect expensive delicate wheels at every step of the process. The Coats 5040A/E uses Coat's newest tire changer platform to allow you to work on a wide variety of applications including virturally all OE fitments. The 5040 is available in either air or electric drive and provides the best value and performance in its class whether you are just entering the tire business or need another changer to add extra capacity.

  • Has high torque X-shaped turntable either air or electric powered, that holds wheels firmly in place during operation and is pedal controlled for more careful tire mounting and demounting and when doing high volume to lessen the risk of tire damage

  • Built in bead seating jets quickly seals even loose beads while table top inflation provides faster workflow.

  • Manual swing arm adjusts horizontal tool head position, and spring assisted vertical height adjustment locks in place with a lever

  • Powerful 1.5 hp motor, air drive system provides plenty of power plus infinite wheel control

  • Pressure limiter for inflation control and enhanced safety

  • Bead loosener - three support blocks and sculpted blade provide wheel protection and ensures contact with tire beads at the proper angle

  • Compact chassis fits easily into limited space applications

  • Handles steel, many alloys, and some performance applications

  • Table top drive system can either be electric or air drive, electric drive operates from standard 110 volt outlet, air required for clamping and inflation is 110 to 175 psi and 2 hp compressor, 5 SCFM at 150 psi. Air drive model requires a 5 hp compressor with a capacity of 14 to 15 SCFM at 150 PSI

  • Clamps wheels externally up to 21 inches in diameter, maximum tire width is 10.5 inches, maximum tire diameter is 50 inches
