Coats 9024E Automatic Tire Changer

The Coats Model 9024E Automatic Rim Clamp Tire Changer is specifically designed with more torque and power so you can change tires on hard to change low profile tires and runflat tires. It's ideal for the high volume shop doing these two types of tires - this is the top of the line in tire changers. Special features include and exclusive Pneumatic Drop Center arm capable of flexing even the stiffest sidewalls and a Power Taper Roller to allow bead and rim lubrication. Swing in rollers help hold heavy tires when necessary, and a special Total Rim Protection Package protects even the most delicate wheels through the entire process. Model 9024E handles rims up to 24 inches clamping externally standard, and up to 26 inches with optional clamp upgrade option. We also have other optional accessories/upgrades to upgrade the 9024E so you can do the PAX system tires found on some Bentley's, and will be found on other cars in the future.

  • For toughest, hard to change tires, low profile wheels and runflat tires, designed with more torque to handle these tires, with the extra torque standard machines don't provide
  • Has specially designed bead breaker shoe that eliminates stress on wheel when bead breaking, and curved shape of bead breaker spade will not dislodge or damage factory pressure sensors attached to the rim
  • The standard set up allows you to externally clamp rims up to 24 inches in diameter, and the accessory upgrade allows external clamping up to 26 inches
  • Another optional accessory upgrade available allows you to change to new PAX system wheels (Michelin's runflat type system)
  • This is the tire changer for any shop that wants to be equiped to do all types of wheel service on passenger cars and SUVs
  • The unit makes mounting and demounting as easy as possible with the unit's pneumatic drop center that can flex even the stiffest sidewalls and a power taper roller that allows easy bead and rim lubrication
  • The power taper roller is used to force the bead down to apply lubricant to the tire, and to force the bead down to insert the tire bar (lift over bar) to start the demounting process when the duckhead mounting/demounting head is in place. The power taper roller is also used to support the tire from underneath when demounting the bottom bead and removing the tire.
  • Swing-in disks also make the processe easier by helping you support heavy tires and raise and lowering them when mounting and demounting the tire from the rim
  • The automatic power tilt mount/demount tower swings in and out of position with the press of a pedal, and holds the last height position of the duckhead so you don't have to reposition the mounting head when mounting the tire back on the rim
  • Rim clamp design for reliability, total rim protection, protects expensive alloy wheels
  • Externally clamps rims 12-24 inches externally (26 inches externally with upgrade), clamps rims 14-26 inches internally with standard set-up
  • Maximum rim width is 16 inches
