Coats HIT 6000 Series Truck Tire Changer

The Coats HIT 6000 series truck tire changer is designed for servicing tubeless tires. The model 6000 tire changer is easy to use, fast, safe; change tubeless tires in minutes, without the use of adapters. Model 6000 is designed for wheel widths of 6 inches to 15 inches, and rim diameters of 16.5 inches to 24.5 inches, and can handle all 15 degree single-piece highway rims, including demountable Dayton wheels, reverse disc Budd wheels and standard disc wheels.

  • Features/Specifications

  • Designed for tubless truck tires with wheels widths of 6 inches to 15 inches, and rim diameters of 16.5 inches to 24.5 inches


  • Also handles all 15 degree single-piece highway rims, including demountable Dayton wheels, reverse disc Budd wheels and standard disc wheels


  • Electo-hydrualic power for the double bead loosener (adjustable to a 20 inch width)


  • Pneumatic (air) power for the three-jaw, self-centering rim chuck


  • Two-position chuck adjustment range and pivoting tabletop that allows mounting/demounting in any position from near vertical to near horizontal, make mounting tires easy


  • One control stick is used for pivoting the tabletop and clamping the rim chuck


  • Bead loosening and mounting and demounting are activated by dedicated two-way pedals


  • Electrical Requirements: either 220 volt three phase, 3 hp 25 amp motor, or 220 volt single phase, 3 hp 45 amp motor


  • Air Requirements: 110-175 psi


  • Minimum/Maximum Wheel Diameter: 16.5 inches to 24.5 inches
