These saws are miter type bandsaws and are excellent for cutting solid rounds, rectangles, tubing, and pipe at any angle up to 60 degrees. BS-330 Series Bandsaws Manual And Semi-Automatic

Manual descent models shut off the blade after each cut; the operator then lifts the head to prepare for the next cut. The semi-automatic band saws have hydraulic clamping and a hydraulic saw head lift that activates after the saw is done cutting. All models are gear driven and have a heavy cast iron saw head and base; the blades are guided via a tungsten carbide insert offering rigidity and accuracy. Safety limit switches ensure that if the blade guards are open, the machine can't operate; in addition, each band saw has a powerful coolant system and a broken blade tensioning devise that shuts down the machine if the blade breaks.

260 Series Miter Bandsaws

Features/Specifications - BS-260M - Manual Model

Model BS-260M offers two cutting functions - manual descent for small production runs controlled by the operator turning on the machine via a trigger switch in the descent handle and manually guiding the saw blade through the material. The operator then lets go of the trigger switch to shut-off the machine when the cut is complete. Hydraulic descent is for larger production runs and increases blade life and reduces operator fatigue. To operate, press the green start button to start the blade and coolant wash, and then adjust the hydraulic descent for feed pressure. When the cut is complete, the saw and coolant pump will automatically shut-off via a limit switch. The saw head is manually lifted to reset the hydraulic descent for the next cut.

Semi-Automatic version of above. The semi-automatic model uses a powerful hydraulic system for clamping the vise and lifting the saw head after the cut has been completed, and the saw blade comes to a stop. The hydraulic descent is adjustable depending on the material you wish to cut, blade type, and blade speed.
Appearance of the saw is exactly the same except for the free standing vise control with footpedal lever and start/stop button on pedestal that connects to the front side of the saw via a hydraulic line

BS-330M Single Miter Horizontal Bandsaw is a manual model that is designed for larger production runs - it has adjustable hydraulic descent, with manual lifting of the cutting head back into the start position, and manual tightening and release of the vise. Its larger capacity gives you a great saw for production work, and saving you money over the semi-automatic version which is available

The hydraulic descent has a down feed adjustment for feed pressure, and when the cut is completed the saw will automatically shut-off, then like all the manual models, you lift the head manually to set it for the next cut

The 330 series saws can cut up to 13 inch OD capacities: round is 13 inch diameter at 90 degrees, 10 1/2 inch diameter at 45 degrees, and 13 inch diameter at 30 degrees, retangular material - 13 inches x 18 1/2 inches at 90 degrees, 11 3/4 inches x 10 3/4 inches at 45 degrees, and 13 inches x 16 inches at 30 degrees

The 330 saws use a 1 1/4 inch band saw blade, making it an extremely accurate and fast cutting saw

Apprearance is the same as BS-330M accept instead of control box mounted on top of saw rail, this larger square controll box is mounted on the front of the frame via an L-shaped arm, hydraulic lines go from control box to the vise

In addition to controlled blade descent and variable blade speed standard on both models, the BS-330SA semi-automatic model has a hydraulically controlled clamping vise, and at the end of the cut when the blade shuts off, the hydraulics lift the saw head up into the starting position and the vise releases and you are ready for the next cut

Material cutting capacities are of course the same as the BS-330M manual model
