BCS Garden Tillers are more than simply roto-tillers. These machines are probably the highest quality roto-tillers available; in addition to tiller attachments, many different attachments are available for this lawn care system including: sickle bar mowers; lawn mowers; heavy duty mowers; snow throwers; a sweeper; and a chipper shredder. Different size and types of attachments fit the different size tractors, but with two 5 hp, a 7 hp, a 8 hp, two 9 hp, and a 14 hp tractor unit, there should be a tractor/attachment combination to do your job. Since each tractor unit can run multiple implements, these units can be very efficient and cost effective to use, replacing several pieces of stand alone equipment.

The Model 712GX-5 is our economical, single speed tractor powered by a 5.5 HP Honda engine. The 712 tractor can be mounted to the 18 inch tiller attachment; the unit's compactness and large 15 inch diameter tires make it stable and easy to handle. The tiller has a slow tilling speed of .6 mph allowing the tines to rotate 20 times per revolution of the wheel. The model 712 is great for the tough jobs such as breaking new ground, tilling sod, and power composting. The finely tilled seedbeds that it produces are ready to plant with no raking required. The slower cultivating speed of the 712 makes it the best choice for people gardening in beds as opposed to mechanically cultivating between the rows (for cultivating between the rows, try our larger models with faster tine speeds). The single mowing speed of 1.4 mph si appropriate for either the 30 inch or 40 inch sickle bar mower; and also available is a 22 inch wide single blade lawn mower.

The Model 718 is built to the same exacting specifications as its predicessor the model 716 but with an improved and enhanced handlebar system that provides more vertical height settings, added anti-vibration, and improved shifting. Model 718 features two working speeds for both front and rear mount attachments; as an 18 inch tiller the 718 features both low gear for seedbed preparation, and second gear for cultivating. The tines rotate 20 times per wheel revolution in 1st gear. The tines rotate 10 times per wheel revolution in second gear, which eliminates weeds and creates a dirt mulch without over-pulverizing the soil. The 718 tractor is powered by a 6.5 hp Briggs And Stratton Industrial/Commerical Intek OHV series engine that is available with either recoil or electric start. The same attachments available on the 712 tractor are available for the 718, with the addition of a transport sulky as you move up to the larger 6.5 hp engine.
