Destroyer D90 Commercial Flail Shredding Mower

The Befco Destroyer D90 Commercial Flail Shredding Mower is designed for heavy duty use mowing roadways and ditchbanks. The mower shreds limbs up to 1 inch in diameter and shreds all weeds, cornstocks, and other similar debris, using cast 1 piece cutting flails. The unique design of the D90 mower has either 12 inch or 16 inch hydraulic side shift to the right for extended reach when mowing road shoulders. The Destroyer D90 mounts on category 1 or 2 three point hitches and is powered by your tractor's 540 rpm pto. The hydraulic side shift requires one hydraulic outlet (plug in two hoses).

• Cutting height is adjustable from 3/4 inches to 5 inches using the height adjustment roller with scraper



• Mounts on your 40 to 90 hp tractor on either category 1 or 2 three point hitches



• Unit comes standard with a single pto gear box for rear mounting on tractors with a category 1 or 2 three point hitch. Mower can be front mounted on utility vehicles and tractors that have a front mount three point hitch and pto. Please Note: The frame already has the dual hitch connections in place, but a dual pto gearbox is required to make use of the front mounting. To use the unit on the front of your tractor, order the optional dual pto gear box 009-9968 listed in the options section below.



• The unit comes with a driveline (pto shaft) with overrunning clutch (slip clutch) 1 3/8 inch ASAE category 6 driveline



• Unit is belt driven off the shaft that extends from the gearbox, has 4 heavy duty XPBX type belts and manual belt tensioner



• Mower has hydraulic side shift - 12 inches on 60 inch mower, and 16 inches of shift on the 72 and 88 inch wide mowers




• Mower uses heavy one piece hammer flails for shredding, weeds, debris, and limbs up through 1 inch in diameter. The 60 inch wide model has 16 hammer flails, 72 inch model has 20 hammer flails, and 88 inch wide model has 24 hammer flails



• The rotor that the flails mount on is 5 1/4 inches in diameter and is contructed of 5/16 inch thick tubing



• Height adjustment of from 3/4 inches to 5 inches is accomplished using the adjustable rear roller; the roller has a mud scraper to make sure cutting height is consistant



• Height adjustment roller tube is 6 5/8 inches in diameter and constructed of 3/16 inch thick tubing
