Series 400 Center Cut Power Ditchers

The Center Cut Power Ditchers are heavy duty power ditchers designed for medium and large tractors with category 2 or 3 three point hitches, for tractors with either 540 rpm or 1000 rpm pto shafts. The power ditcher is the simplest, most economical approach to field water control. This unit is designed to spread soil up to 30 ft., and dig ditches up to 12 inches deep in one pass. The 400 series ditcher gives you excellent performance in most soil conditions and all types of crops.

• Series 400 Center Cut Power Ditcher
• Pto powered, models available for either 540 rpm, 6 spline output shafts, or 1000 rpm 21 spline output shafts, or 1000 rpm with 20 spline output shafts
• Units have a spring tensioned belt drive for the final drive
• Unique high hp belt drive is equipped with a banded belt, and tapered bushed sheaves and self-adjusting spring tensioning system
• The simple spring tensioned self-adjusting belt drive assures proper tension, resulting in little down time for service or maintenance



• The rotor has shielded bearings, four reversible cutting blades, and is fully shielded
• Rotor blades are adjustable from 18 to 20 inches
  


• Heavy duty structure fits category 2 and 3 standard three point hitches, or quick hitch systems
• Rugged A-frame type design constructed from high strength tube
• These features make the PFM power ditcher the strongest and most durable on the market
• The Power Ditcher is designed for medium and large tractors with category 2 or 3 hitches, minimum pto hp recommended is 35, the maximum hp the driveshaft can take is 180 hp, driveshaft has a 180 hp shear pin with regreasable slide
