Offset Cut Power Ditcher
The Offset Cut Power Ditcher gives you the same durability and performance of our center cut ditcher, but gives you the added advantage of being able to offset the unit to either the left or right. A power ditcher is the simplest, most economical approach to field water control. The unit is designed to spread soil up to 30 ft. and dig ditches up to 12 inches deep in one pass; you get excellent performance in most soil conditions and all types of crops. The standard unit comes as shown below; available options include a ripper shank assembly and a gauge wheel assembly.

- Spreads soil up to 30 ft. ditches up to 12 inches deep in one pass, excellent performance in most soil conditions and all types of crops
- For dry or compacted soil, and to increase speed, an optional ripper shank is available
- Rugged "A" frame design is constructed of high strength tubing
- The unique high horsepower belt drive is equipped with a banded belt, and adjustment system that uses taper lock sheaves with a self-adjusting spring tensioning system
- The simple spring tensioned self-adjusting belt drive assures proper tension, with very little downtime for service or maintenance
- No more difficult alignment, adjusting, and oil leak problems common with other units using high RPM chain drive systems
- The rotor has shielded bearings, four reversible cutting blades, and is fully shielded
- Recommended minimum pto hp is 35, units are available for pto tractor yokes of 1 3/8 inches, 6 spline, 540 rpm and 1 3/8 inches, 21 spline, 1000 rpm and 1 3/4 inches, 20 spline, 1000 rpm
- Unit offsets left or right 34 inches, discharge of material is always to the left however, unit comes field ready for left-hand offset, and can be changed for right-hand offset
- Drive shaft has 180 hp rated shear pin safety with greaseable slide
- Cutting head is equipped with four reversible high carbon blades that are adjustable from 18 inches to 20 inches
- Mounts on tractors with either category 2 or 3 three point hitches, or quick hitch systems
