Three Point Hitch Mount PTO Powered Diggers

The Danuser Models F8 And G20/40 three point hitch mount/PTO powered post hole diggers are some of the toughest units available and are made in the USA. The F Series Digger has been in use since 1943 and is a well proven design. The F8 is ideal for farm or commerical work and is designed to mount to category 1 or 2 three point hitches 40 hp and above. The F8 gear set is a spiral ring gear and pinion equipped with Timken bearings. Components are manufactured and assembled in the U.S.A..

The G20/40 post hole digger is stronger and tougher than any digger in its class. This pto model handles 20 to 40 hp tractors with a category 1 three point hitch. The G20/40 consistantly provides unmatched performance under years of use. The G20/40 gear set is a forged ring gear and pinion equiped with Timken bearings. All components are manufactured and assembled in the U.S.A..

In addition to the quality of the F8 and G20/40 models, the reason we sell these units is the availability of optional Down Force Kit Accessory. The down force kit makes difficult digging easier. The kit attaches to all Danuser boom type diggers without alteration and with the use of ordinary hand tools. It provides approximately 500 lbs. of additional force to the auger point for easier penetration of hard or frozen ground. The kit doesnot interfere with normal digging operations. The kit operates from the tractor hydraulic system with normal remote cylinder outlets. You will need to provide the mating coupler to fit your tractor, as well as sufficient hydraulic hose and fittings to connect the valve to the tractor sump.

Features/Specifications - J 20/80


Designed for tractors from compact to medium sized from 20 to 80 hp and will mount on either category 1 or 2 three point hitches
Maximum auger diameter you can use is 24 inches
Boom is constructed of 3 1/2 inch OD round tubing with a reinforcing rib
The Yoke is 3 1/2 inch O.D. tubing
The bearings are timken tapered roller bearings
Uses a 2 inch diameter round output spindle
Input pinion is guarded, 1 1/4 inch diameter with roll pin to keep the u-joint attached with a Grade 5 shear bolt
Gearbox has a gear ratio of 3.1:1 with a heavy-duty gear set carrying a 5 year warranty
