Firewood Processors

We offer Firewood Processors in various sizes from units perfect for individual use, to larger ones for commerical use. A Firewood Processor is a complete system that includes a saw, splitter, and conveyer so you can take the product (Firewood) from 20 ft. long log for example down to firewood pieces in various sizes (logs are cut to length you want, and then split it into either in 4, 6, or 8 pieces depending upon the wedge you use (4 and 6 piece wedge come standard, 8 piece wedge (blade has 6 parts) is an option). The smallest model the Eagle, is perfect for individual use or small stores. Both the Eagle series and the OH60 use a circular saw blade to cut the logs to length; the 1X37, 2X, and X47 all use an integrated chainsaw to cut the logs; in addition, the larger models split the wood with a hydraulic cylinder pushing the log through the wedge, where as the Eagle model has a circular pointed shaft that splits the log in half when the log is forced into the shaft (but also available without the splitting screw on our base model). Model OH60 is available in a tractor PTO model only; all other models are available as either tractor mounted models, PTO powered, or free standing models with engine powered hydraulics.

• Features/Specifications - Eagle Series Firewood Processors



• The Eagle series has unique features compared to the other series listed below, three models are available, a pto powered tractor mounted model with saw only, a pto powered, tractor mounted model with screw type logsplitter, and a free standing model with saw and splitting screw powered by a 5 hp Honda engine
• The Eagle series uses a circular saw blade to cut off the logs at the desired length (the larger models use a chainsaw bar and chain); in addition, the Eagle uses a screw type log splitter to split your log in half. The screw type splitter has been around for years is a low maintenance, easy way to split logs in half.
• The Eagle model firewood processor is any easy to use unit that sets up quickly and gives the individual or smaller firewood producer a great machine for making lots of firewood
• Cutting blade is a circular saw blade 27.5 inches in diameter
• The splitting screw is 9.05 inches long and 3.94 inches in diameter with a changeable tip
• Units are either pto or engine driven depending upon the model

• Features/Specifications - Model OH60






• Model OH60 is the next step up in size and features from the Eagle model. The OH60 has a similar design and features of the larger 1X37, 2X, and X47 models, but in a simpliar design. This design is more compact than the larger models also.
• Model OH60 is the next step up in production from the Eagle. Production for the OH60 is approximately 1 to 1.5 chords of wood per hour processed.
• This high production speed is produced partially because of the high splitting speed of 2-3 seconds per splitting cycle (out and back), standard cycle time is 3 seconds, adjusting the acceleration valve brings cycle time to 2 seconds
• The OH60 firewood processor is tractor driven and has it's own hydraulic system, powered by your tractor's pto






• Unit has an emergency foot pedal stop for safety
• As log drops into the splitting chute, it automatically activates the splitting mechanism
• Blade height adjustment (to accomodate for different diameters of logs when splitting) is quick and easy via an easy to reach hand lever
• Splitting Function: if necessary, operator can stop and reverse splitting cycle, has safety stop pedal that stops rotation of cutting blade and splitting ram, also the acceleration valve allows a 33 percent faster cycle time, standard blades included will split the log into either 2 or 4 pieces, and optional blade can split a log into 6 pieces, the blade is easy to remove if splitting isn't required
• Cutting: log length can be measured quickly and easily and pre-set to the desired length, the log stop deflects and the log is cut to the log falls unobstructed into the chute. The logs are cut with a circular blade as on the Eagle series.
• The output conveyor folds upright for storage when not in use, making it compact for easy storage and transport
• Options include a log rack for loading the input conveyor, and a net sack support frame allowing you to bundle the firewood in net sacks and ship it on pallet
