The Garber Tow Behind Ground Driven Drop Spreaders And Three Point Hitch Mount Ground Driven Drop Spreaders are high quality models with metal frames and hoppers, built to stand up to rigorous use. All models are ground driven and standard configuration is tow behind. The units are available in widths of 36, 48, 60, and 72 inches. You can purchase the three point hitch kit to turn the 36, 48, and 60 inch models into a three point mount model.

Two series are available: GD models and GDP models; both have carbon steel hoppers with painted finish, GD models have standard steel axle, agitator, and metering gate. The GDP models have stainless steel axle, agitator, and metering gate for even longer life/corrosion resistance. These drop spreaders are available in several different sizes from 36 to 72 inches wide (GD models), and 36 to 72 inches GDP models). Large pneumatic (air) tires make the units easy to tow. You can use your drop spreader virtually year round - in spring and summer for seeding and fertilizing, and in winter for applying salt or ice melt chemicals; and these drop spreaders will provide you with precision application with uniform application rates. These drop spreaders also have specially engineered gates for handling lime.

Please Note: Total machine width is HOPPER WIDTH PLUS 15 INCHES (wheels add 15 inches outside to outside of wheels). We do not accept returns so make sure you know the maximum machine width that will work for you.



• Other Dimensions: hoppers are 12 inches deep (front to back dimension at the top, and taper down to 2 inches at bottom over the axle), hoppers are 15 inches tall



• Tow behind ground driven precision drop spreaders with an available optional three point hitch kit for models up through 60 inches wide



• All steel construction with large air tires, hoppers are carbon steel with either steel or stainless steel internal parts as noted, units are made to last and made from 12 and 16 gauge steel



• Optional three point hitch lets you mount the model on your tractor's category 1 three point hitch to give you maximum maneuverability and allows for short turns without danger of damaging the hitch; it also eliminates the gap in the spread pattern when turning corners. The three point hitch accessory bolts on and isnot instantly removable, so it also includes an easy to install clevis hitch that attaches to the three point hitch so you can switch back and forth easily between the three point hitch and tow hitch.



• Units can be used to spreader all flowable materials including lime (pelletized lime is preferred/recommended, but powdered if dry and flowable will work)



• The adjustable gate has openings that are triangular shaped (the width - bottom leg of the triangle is 3/4 inches long, the two sides are 1/2 inches long). These units will work with many types of granular fertilizer and herbicide, lime, etc. and grass seed, and some crop seeds. You can spread seeds as large as Oat seeds (corn and soybean seeds are too large however).
