Harrow Rakes

Harrow Rakes are very versatile tools that are used for smoothing dirt areas, dethatching turf, working in fertilizer, and scattering and spreading out compost or manure. The harrow rake is very effective for smoothing out ball fields and areas for preparation for seeding. The harrow rake can be turned over with the harrow teeth up and used as a drag mat, or turned with the harrow teeth down for smoothing and conditioning of dirt surfaces. Position the harrow teeth in different ways for light to maximum penetration. This series of harrow rake dethatcher has 7/16 inch diameter tines which are virtually impossible to bend. If you want even larger diameter tines however, look in our index for models with 1/2 inch and even 5/8 inch diameter tines. Our standard series on this page with 7/16 inch diameter tines are our only models available as three point hitch mount versions and tow behind versions; all other models in our index are tow behind only.

• Prepares Better Seed Beds:Use harrow to scarify the ground, plant the seed, then cover it up in second pass, pull behind a tractor or ATV.
  
• Built To Last:Engineered for rugged use, all harrow teeth are 7/16" diameter by 3.5" long and made of high carbon steel. A patented design prevents teeth from spreading apart in the center. Draw-bar is extra heavy duty tubular steel construction. No maintenance is required.
  
• Harrow Lifts:Harrow lift lets you lift and transport the 4' up through 14' harrow rake using the 3 point hitch on your tractor. The lift is built from square steel tubing; all steel parts are enamel painted.
