PTO Powered Wet Sand Spreaders And Hydraulic Powered Skid Steer Mount Model

These models are specifically designed to spread sand, AND ARE DESIGNED TO HANDLE WET SAND STORED OUTDOORS, MOISURE CONTENT DOES NOT MATTER. Four models are available: model KA5.5 holds 550 lbs.; model KA750S holds 1200 lbs.; and model KA1200S holds 2000 lbs.; all three of these models are pto powered; also available is model KA750SSS which comes with a hydraulic motor and valve, and mount plate so you can run it on your skid steer loader. It is recommended on the PTO powered models that you run the tractor speed at 2/3 throttle, so your 540 rpm pto runs at about 400 rpm; this will give you approximately a 20 ft. wide spread width; if you slow the throttle the spread pattern will become even less. There is an optional fan shroud available for sanding sidewalks.








Designed for spreading wet sand stored outdoors, moisure content does not matter on sand, IF IT IS FINE SAND, LET US KNOW AS THE AGITATOR IS DIFFERENT, this unit can also be used for MOIST (not wet) AG LIME





Three three point hitch tractor mounted, pto powered models are available, and one hydraulic powered skid steer mount is available





It is recommended that a 540 rpm tractor pto be operated at 2/3 throttle for about 400 rpm pto speed; this will give you 20 feet of spread width; you can then reduce the speed even further for lesser widths. When doing sidewalks, there is an optional fan shroud available, to spread narrow widths.





All models will spread 275 lbs. of sand in one minute





Comes with regular course material agitator standard, which handles courser materials such as seeds and fertilizer; if spreading mostly fine sand, please make note on order and a different agitator will be provided, which will give you the maximum spread width of 20 ft. (maximum spread width will be less than 20 ft. when using standard course material agitator with fine material).





An optional fan shroud is available to narrow the spread width so you can do sidewalks
