King Hitter Fence Post Drivers - Series 1

The King Hitter Fence Post Driver is a heavy duty fence post driver that is available in several configurations and options, making it one of the most versatile fence post drivers available. The King Hitter standard mounts to tractor three point hitches and with the mounting kit, mounts to skid steer loaders; other mounts are also available. Three different series are available, series 1, 2, and 3, and all units have side to side and front to back angling (angling is manual on Series 1, optional hydraulic angle kits listed below). Standard mounting on the Series I model is center mounted for CATEGORY 2 three point hitches. An optional side mount kit for the Series I model is listed below in the options.

King Hitter Tractor Mounted Fence Post Driver

The larger series 2, and 3 models have several accessories available for them including a rock spike auger unit to auger a pilot hole for driving posts in rocky soil, or a rock spike that is driven in to make a pilot hole in rocky soil. Series 1 fence post driver will drive a post up to 9 ft. tall x 8 inches in diameter; series 2 and 3 drivers will drive posts either 10 ft. tall and 12 inches in diameter (models with 12 ft. 6 inch mast), or 14 ft. tall posts and 12 inches in diameter (models with 16 ft. tall beam). Series 1 Post Driver

Features/Specifications - King Hitter Series 1 Fence Post Driver

12 ft. 6 inch beam (mast length) rear mounted post driver, with standard legs
The world's finest post driver with a single flange beam
Tailor-made for economical fencing and general farm work
Mounts to tractors, skid steer loaders, and barges/pontoon
Drives up to 8 inch diameter posts (maximum is 9 ft. tall x 6" diameter)
Has 450 lb. hammer
Impact at full stroke is 60,000 lbs.
Unit has front tilt of 10 degrees and back tilt of 20 degrees, has manual top link
Unit has side to side tilt of 20 degrees left and right, all angle adjustments are manual
Free standing in most conditions
Standard post cap
Offset controls let the operator stand safely to the side of the driver
Post cap guides the post correctly and protects the operator from impact
Mounts on catagory 2 three point hitches
Has fixed stabilizer legs
Safety post cap is standard
Optional safety guard is available
Optional safety hammer stop is available
Maximum post height you can drive is 9 ft. tall
Minimum hydraulic psi required is 1800 psi
Minimum average oil volume needed from hydraulic system is 10 gallon per minute
