Loadhandler Pickup Truck Unloader

The Loadhandler Pickup Truck Unloader is a hand operated material unloading system, that makes unloading all types of materials easy. Use the Loadhandler to unload sand, gravel, dirt, rock, clay, trash, equipment, hay bales, feed bags, furniture...virtually anything you can haul in your pickup. The Loadhandler installs in about a minute, and lets you unload your pickup in as little as 30 seconds.

  

  

• Features/Specifications



• Loadhandler consists of a heavy gauge poly fabric rolled onto a steel bar that runs the whole length of the tailgate



• Loadhandler fabric slides on truck bed, make sure your truck bed isn't rusty; the loadhandler won't work with spray on bed liners in general (won't work with Rhino Liners (tm) or similar spray on liners).

• Padded brackets and tie-down straps secure the Loadhandler to any tailgate - installs or removes in about a minute



• Loadhandler units have adjustable brackets that belt onto the tops of tailgates sit it is the width of the tailgate (left to right, or driver side to passenger side) that is important in determining which Loadhandler models will fit your truck. Bed length and cab type are not important in determining which Loadhandler to purchase.



• Full-size (fleetside) tailgate widths range from 61 to 67 inches and can accomodate either the LH2000 or LH3000 Loadhandler



• Mid-Size (fleetside) tailgate widths range from 52 to 57 inches and can accomodate the LH2000M Loadhandler



• Step-Side (non-fleetside) tailgate widths range from 44 to 52 inches and can accomodate only the LH2000M Loadhandler, this includes both full-size and mid-size step-sides (and the F150 Super Crew which has a tapered tailgate of 52 inches)



• Bumper tie down strap holds tailgate down when unloading material to prevent tailgate from inching upward



• To load, just unroll the drag sheet to cover your truck bed. To unload, lower the tailgate, insert the crank handle into the end of the roller bar, and rewind the dragsheet.



• Several models of Loadhandler are available for different applications and truck sizes. If you have a compact pickup for example, and the closest size of Loadhandler is a couple of inches too wide, you can still use it; if the sides curl up as the fabric passes the wheel well this will still work fine, you want to center the load in the bed as much as possible but depending upon your truck, you may have to shift the loadhandler to one side anyway so the crank handle will clear the side of the truck bed



• LH2000 and LH3000 are good for full size trucks with the exceptions listed below, and the LH3000 is most suitable for flatbed trucks and trailer applications. The LH2000M is specifically designed for small and mid-sized pickups. If in doubt on which unit you need, then measure the width of your tailgate.





LH2000

• LH2000 has a 2000 lbs. load capacity on the drag sheet and has a 68 inch wide roller bar and 50 inch wide drag sheet. LH2000M has the same 2000 lbs. load capacity but has a narrower 60 inch wide roller bar and 42 inch wide drag sheet. LH3000 has a 3000 lbs. load capacity, 67 inch wide roller bar, and 52 inch wide drag sheet.



• Best model for 1/2-ton trucks. Also recommended for light-duty on 3/4- and 1-ton trucks. Does not fit some 2008 and older F-150 Super Crews. Please measure width of your Super Crew tailgate to be sure. 61" - 67" wide is full-size and 52" - 57" is mid-size.




EXCEPTIONS: New Extra Wide Brackets May Be Required On Some Models. The new brackets are designed to fit any new 1/2-ton (extra-wide brackets are not necessary for 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks) with an extra-wide tailgate and/or an extra-wide tailgate cap.

The new brackets open to maximum 6 inches wide; our regular brackets open to 3.5 inches maximum. Following are full-size trucks that "probably" need the extra-wide bracketing: 2008 & newer Chevy/GMC 1500 (Silverado & Sierra), 2008 & newer Dodge Ram 1500, and "some" 2009 & newer Ford F-150s (not all new F-150s have wide tailgates).

Newer model truck owners should measure their own tailgate widths, on the far-right and far-left sides of the tailgate, or tailgate cap, where the Loadhandler unit attaches. If wider than 3.5", then the new wide brackets are needed. The extra-wide brackets are special order only, but are no charge on new orders. If extra wide brackets are needed, specify this on your order form when ordering.

• Model LH2000: - universal full-size standard model fits all full-size pickups (except step-sides) including 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton and 1-ton, Chevy/GMC, Ford F-Series, Dodge, and Toyota T100 and Tundra. Best for 1/2 ton trucks, also recommended for light duty on 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. Exceptions - does not fit F150 Super Crew Cab (because of short box and curve of fenders, that model requires the LH2000M). Unit has 68 inch wide roller bar, drag sheet is 50 inches wide x 15 ft. long, wt. is 20 lbs., capacity is 2000 lbs. - Price is $99.00 delivered

• LH2000M is best model for all Mid-Size trucks. Also best model for all Step-Sides (both Full-Size and Mid-Size/Compact Step-Sides). Need to trim dragsheet width (from 42" wide to approx. 37") on mid-size/compact step-sides in order to make room for brackets to attach to narrow tailgate




• LH2000M Fits all Mid-Size, Compact and all Step-Sides including: • Chevy S-10 & Colorado • Dodge Dakota • Ford Ranger & F-150 Super Crew • GMC Sonoma & Canyon • Honda Ridgeline • Isuzu• Mazda • Mitsubishi Raider • Nissan Frontier • Toyota Tacoma

LH3000

• LH3000 is best model for heavy use on all Full-Size trucks, especially 3/4- and 1-ton trucks. Fits all Full-Size trucks except Step-Sides, some 2008 and older F-150 Super Crews (see explanation above under LH2000) and Toyota T100 & Tundra 2006 & older. The LH3000 is the most suitable Loadhandler for trailer and flat-bed application, although modification by consumer may be required.
