• Heavy Duty Hammermill Style Chipper/Shredders




• The Hammermill Style Chipper/Shredders use free-swinging hammers and a flywheel with the chipping knives mounted to the front of the flywheel just like the larger commerical models we sell. This type of chipping/shredding system allows you to shred larger materials in addition to leaves, and shred limbs up to 1 1/2 inches in diameter (refer to the capacity chart on this page).



• The shredding hammers shred, tear, beat, and grind the material until it is small enough to drop through the holes in the screen (optional screens are available allowing you to control the size of output. Screens with larger holes for processing wet material are also available.



• Another quality feature of these machines is the centrifugal clutch which allows for no-load starting while providing operator and engine protection.

Three Point Hitch Models


• Two models of pto chippers are available: model TPH122 mounts to tractors from 10 to 30 hp with a 540 rpm pto, using either a category 0 or 1 three point hitch and model TPH184 requires a category 1 three point hitch and is designed to be powered by tractors from 16 to 45 hp with a 540 rpm pto
