Tractor Mounted Firewood Processors

The Palax Firewood Processors are tractor mounted, hydraulically operated firewood processors that are powered by your tractor's 540 rpm pto. These are complete Firewood Processing machines including a saw, splitter, and conveyor. The conveyors on the machine are powered by a hydraulic motor that enables them to be swung approximately 2.2 meters to the side.

Tractor Mounted Firewood Processors

The Model KS35 is a firewood processor equiped with a 15 inch chainsaw, in-feed conveyor, and hydraulic transmission. This machine is the ideal choice for farm use where tree diameters vary greatly but do not exceed 35 cm (14 inches). The other model available Model Power 100STR is the largest unit and is equiped with a 1000mm (40 inch) diameter overhead hard-metal blade, a thrust force of 16 tons and full hydraulic control. This machine is at its best when processing beech or oak wood. The maximum tree diameter allowed is 40 cm (16 inches).

    The Palax Model 100S firewood processor is designed for professional use. Model 100S includes several unique propietary features that make it the most efficient, productive, and reliable machine of its size for processing big trees. The machine comes standard with an automatic high-speed valve for the splitting cylinder. The key to the high production of this machine is that as a rule, the work stroke is always performed at a high speed; if the splitting force at this high speed is great enough, the wood will split, if the splitting force is not enough, it will immediately be boosted automatically. The automatic adjustment of speed and force makes the model 100s one of the most efficient and productive firewood processors available.
