The Model PH-19 is an electric powered power hammer designed for shaping, shrinking, stretching, and making beads in sheet metal. Model PH-19-VS is the same planishing hammer but with variable speed and foot control.

The model MH-19 does all this and comes with tooling to convert it into an English Wheel to form smooth compound curves. The Combination Power Hammer And English Wheel Metal Forming Machine is three machines in one: A Solid Hit Power Hammer, A Spring Loaded Power Hammer, and An English Wheel. Both machies are industrial grade machines with many of the best features including: variable speed; stoke length and clearance adjustable on the fly; adjustable roller back gauge; removable handle for material clearance; and foot pedal or automatic control (on model PH-19-VS and MH-19).

• Features/Specifications





• Three machines in one: solid hit; spring-loaded; and english wheel (english wheel assembly is included with machine)



• Can function similar to a Yoder machine, using a leaf spring set up to "Throw The Die", causing a dead blow hammering effect. This mode is used for aggressive shrinking and planishing (creating a smooth surface); many difference tool profiles can be used.



• Can function to short stroke forming machines by disconnecting the leaf spring and making the top lever a "rigid link", eliminating any give between the die heads; used for short stroke shaping, and flanging. Infinate tooling designs and profiles can be fabricated.



• Stroke lengths can be adjusted "on the fly" without changing the final stroke position of the die. The stroke will change only in the up direction; the bottom most position of the stroke will remain the same no matter what the stroke is set to. This is accomplished by the stroke toggle mechansim; by changing the pivot point of one of the links, the stroke can be varied and adjusted in any mode while running. The stroke range is from .175 up to .550 inch.



• An eccentric adjuster is used to adjust the upper stroke mechanism up or down to get the correct distance between tools as well as setting the down force which can be adjusted in any mode while running



• The motor for controlling the system has the ability to vary the speed via foot potentiometer and the maximum speed limit can also be set. The foot control allows the user to feather the beats. The machine will produce 1500 beats per minute, with infinite adjustability down to 0 bpm by means of the foot pedal control.



• The DC servo option has a very definite control as the commands to the motor are instantaneous. In the servo mode the machine can be set up to deliver a single hit or blow, and return to the upper most position; perfect for slow operation requiring lots of power at slow speeds.



• The machine also includes the english wheel option with an 8 inch top roll and two 4 inch bottom rolls with different profiles.
