Rockhound Landscape Rake Rock Removal And Grading and Seed Preparation Tool

The Rockhound Landscape Rake is a multi-function skid steer loader and tractor attachment that is used for removing rocks and one step seed bed preparation. Removes small and medium rocks and debris with ease including rocks as small as 3/4 inches. The top cover is opened with a hydraulic cylinder for easy dumping, and also allows the bucket to be used to scrape high spots. Skid Steer/Tractor Loader mount models are operated while driving in reverse; three point hitch tractor mounted models operate while driving forward.

Rock Hound Landscape Rake Preparing Seed Bed   Rock Hound Landscape Rake Dumping The Bucket

Rake bars provide better leveling and longer ground contact. The 72 inch model has 12 rotating tooth bars with 468 teeth. The rake bars pickup and remove rocks, clear the surface of vegetation, and level and prepare the seed bed. The unit is self-contained with an integrated hopper; mounts on loader arms on skid steer models, and on three point hitch on tractor models. The Skid Steer/Tractor Loader Mount Models operate by driving in reverse, pulling the shredded material into the hopper. The tractor three point hitch models allow you to drive forward when operating the rake.

  • The 6 ft. wide (72 inch) model can be mounted to skid steer loaders that have universal quick attach bucket mounts, or can be mounted on the front of medium sized tractor loaders, and with the optional three point hitch kit mount, can be mounted on the three point hitch of your medium sized tractor with category 1 hitch.


  • The Landscape rake uses a hydraulic motor powered by your vehicles hydraulic system to turn the tooth bars with use spinning teeth to churn the soil and pick up rocks and debris and deposit them in the hopper/container. The unit levels as it works giving you a clean and level prepped area for your seed bed. The materials collect in the hopper, and can be dumped at any time.

  • Operation Tips: The flatter the rake and bucket are positioned, the more soil will be collected. If you are picking up too much soil, then angle the bucket downward so the loose soil falls out of the bucket. The spinning rake teeth will keep the rocks in the bucket, and since the landscape rake is double hinged, it will stay within the bucket, preventing soil from spilling out the sides. When you get to the point that you have so many rocks that it won't pick up any more, then pick up the bucket, level it out and dump the rocks off to the side, and go back to where you just stopped and continue on.
