There are no pins to move or re-engage to reach maximum bend angle of 206 degrees; this is accomplished by the ratcheting mechanism and the anti-reverse stop-latch which keeps tension on the material during the entire bend cycle. A quick release counter-die allows bends to pull out in seconds with no disassembly required. The model 100-S has a highly visible degree dial for accuracy, and the color-coded dies are easily identifiable and interchangeable with all RMD products. Many different dies are available, the maximum bending size is 1 inch inside diameter on schedule 40 pipe, 1 3/4 inch outside diameter on tubing with a wall thickness of .095 inches, 1 1/2 inches on .083 wall chromolly tubing, and 1 inch x 1 inch with .125 inch wall square tubing; other types and sizes of stock are listed below.
