Manual, Pneumatic And Electric Powered Sheet Metal Notchers
Two different manually operated sheet metal Notchers are available. Model SN-F16-HN is a cabinet mounted hand operated 90 degree fixed angle notcher for 16 gauge mild steel or 20 gauge stainless steel material. Notch size is 6 inches x 6 inches. Model SN-F16-FN is a pedestal type, floor mounted machine which is manually foot pedal operated. It also has a 16 gauge mild steel and 20 gauge stainless steel capacity. It is also a 90 degree fixed angle notcher. Notch size is 3 inches by 3 inches.
Model SN-F11-AN is a free standing, cabinet mounted pneumatic 90 degree fixed angle notcher. This model cuts mild steel sheet metal up to 11 gauge (3mm) and cuts a 5 inch x 5 inch notch. The table has adjustable material stops. This unit is foot pedal controlled and is powered by your standard air compressor (115 psi required).
Model SN-F09-MS sheet metal notcher is a free standing cabinet mounted notcher powered by a 220 volt, 3 phase electric motor. This unit is a 90 degree fixed type notcher that cuts a 7 3/4 inch x 7 3/4 inch notch in mild steel sheet metal up to 9 gauge (4 mm) thick. The unit has adjustable material stops and manual blade gap adjustment.
The Fixed Angle And Variable Angle Power Notchers, models SN-F250 And SN-V250 are the highest quality and versatile sheet metal notchers on the market. These high quality notchers offer features such as their patented blade gap adjustment that allows the operator to cut different thicknesses without any adjustments needed by the operator; this allows the blades to last longer and give you a burr free cut. These notchers also shear with the blades in both the negative and positive position, have stop guides with dove tail grooves (for a tighter fit) and have the most rigid shearing head in the industry; another factor contributing to longer blade life.

Features/Specifications - Fixed Angle Notcher
The patented blade gap adjustment allows the operator to cut different thicknesses without any adjustments needed by the operator, allowing the blades to last longer and give you a burr free cut
The machines shear with the blades in the negative position as well as as the positive position. The position used is based on which part you want to keep, the finished part pulled from the machine (best is negative) or the dropped piece (best is positive). Negative cut allows for less deformation on the finished part. Negative cutting clamps the sheet metal down so there isn't any movement. Positive cutting will want to move the sheet away from the stops, allowing for room for error.
The stop guides have dove tail grooves in the tail that allows for a tighter, more secure guide setting allowing these machines to have more accuracy and repeatability.
The shearing head is the most rigid in the industry because of the 5 point fixed head. A stable shearing head is very important to blade life and machine life when notching heavier plate
All notchers drop the waste into a chute and the chute drops the waste in a bin outside of the machine; some other machines on the market actually have the dropped material go into a bin in the middle of the machine making the operator have to bend into the machine to take out a heavy bin of scrap to throw out, making these machines more ergonomically friendly.
Workbench is 25 inches x 25 inches
Blade length is 8 5/8 inches
Maximum cutting thickness is 6mm (a little less than1/4 inches (.236 inches) in mild steel)

The features of the variable angle model are similar, and in addition, the variable angle model has blades fixed in three positions with the pivot point and the end points of each blade is fixed after adjustment to angle is made. This type of rigidity separates these from other sheet metal fabricating equipment on the market
The variable angle machine can notch from 30 degrees up to 140 degrees and can shear a 140 degree notch in one pass with one drop (some other machines would require two cuts resulting in two drops)
Workbench dimensions are 37 inches x 35 inches
Blade length is 8 5/8 inches
Angle adjustment is 30 degree to 140 degrees
Maximum cutting thickness in mild steel is 6mm (.236, approximately 1/4 inches)
Cycles per minute (for the total length of the blades) is 35
Two adjustable squares with stop bar for proper angling of material into cutting blades
Machine dimensions are 35 inches wide x 37.5 inches deep x 45 inches high, wt. is 1920 lbs.
