Skid Steer Mounted Snow Blowers

The Schulte Skid Steer Mounted Snow Blowers are available in 62 inch, 74 inch and 84 inch wide cutting widths and mount on most popular skid steer loaders. These units are high quality two-stage models. All three models have a 14 inch diameter auger to load the snow into the 22 inch diameter steel fan that breaks up and discharges all snow and chunks of ice out through the rotating directional chute. The standard unit has a manual (hand crank) directional chute, with a hydraulic rotation kit available.

• Three models are available - model BX-62 has a 62 inch cutting width, unit weighs 485 lbs., and model BX-74 has a 74 inch cutting width and weighs 510 lbs. and model BX-84 has an 84 inch cutting width and weighs 550 lbs.


• The blower head has a 26 inch cutting height, and the overall blower head frame height is 55 inches


• The two stage blower head (has a 14 inch diameter auger augering the snow into the 22 inch diameter fan to break up ice chunks and blow the snow out the discharge chute)


• A complete snow blower set up includes either the 62 inch or 74 inch or 84 inch blower head, a hydraulic drive kit with either a 4.9 cubic inch, 6.2 cubic inch, 8.0 cubic inch, 9.6 cubic inch, or 11.9 cubic inch motor. Which motor kit you need depends upon the size of loader you have and it's hydraulic capacity. You will also need the appropriate mounting kit.


• The hydraulic motors have an enclosed bevel gearbox


• Note: 12 gpm required for fair performance, 16 gpm or higher recommended for good performance on model BX-62, 15 gpm minimum and 18 gpm or higher recommended on BX-74, and 18 gpm minimum and 24 gpm higher recommended for good performance on model BX-84


• How to order: You must choose 1 - basic unit (the blower unit), 1 - motor kit (hydraulic drive kit), 1 - chute, 1 - chute rotation kit, and 1 - mount kit, the standard universal BobCat compatable quick attach skid steer mount kit listed is for all quick attach skid steer loaders and tractor loaders using the Bobcat standard. On skid steer loaders it is usually all makes after 1996, and on tractor loaders it varies. If you are unsure, let us know what this is being mounted on. We can mount it on most loaders and skid steers; other mount plates are available.

• Listed below is a chart showing which models of skid steer will work with which model of snow blower head, and the output in gallons per minute (gpm) of each brand of skid steer loader and the hydraulic motor kit that will work. The expected performance is shown on one column of the chart. There are some models that don't have the recommended minimum hydraulic output to run either blower head. Currently, the smallest hydraulic motor kit we have available is the 4.9 cubic inch model, and as listed above, the recommended minimum gpm hydraulic out put is 13 gpm on model 6200, and 15 gpm on model 7400, with 16 gpm and 18 gpm being the recommended hydraulic system output for the two models respectively.
