The Stinger Motorcycle Trailer can solve many of the problems you have if you need a trailer. One person can easily fold and unfold the Stinger Trailer in seconds. The trailer is low to the ground so you can load your bike by yourself, when you are done with the trailer it folds up small enough you can store it almost anywhere. If you have a topper or flat box lid, fold the Stinger up and hide it out of the way in your pickup bed, (folded height is 22 inches), and the Stinger will also fit in most SUV's; the trailer can stay hidden and out of the way when not in use, preventing any theft, and giving you more room at the campground or racetrack. When you are home, the compact size takes up minimum space in your garage. The Stinger Trike Trailer is now also available. The Trike Trailer works with most factory trikes or trike kits; maximum bike length 117 inches and maxium width currently 63 inches. The Stinger Trike trailer is the easiest way to haul your trike; easy on and off because of trailer's low height to the ground.
The Stinger trailer's unique integrated hitch requires you to remove the ball from either the tow plate on your bumper or from the insert in your receiver hitch. The stem of the trailer hitch goes down through the hole in the tow plate or receiver hitch insert. You may have to have a bumper hitch stepdown or receiver hitch insert with a drop down to tow this trailer because it is so low to the ground. The maximum height that the tow plate or top of the receiver hitch insert can be is 12 inches; taller than that and you will need a step down to bring it to a level position.
Also now available is the Stinger Trike Trailer. The Stinger Folding Trike Trailer has many of the features of the standard Stinger, but with a wide one piece deck to support the rear wheels of your trike. The Stinger Trike Trailer is also low to the ground making it easy to load and unload your trike. The Stinger Trike trailer also folds up for compact storage or loading into a large SUV or pickup when not in use at your campsite.
The standard trailer works for virtually all motorcycles (excluding extra long custom choppers - see dimensions below to see if your custom bike will fit). There are bikes however, that require a special version of this trailer - the Honda 1800, Goldwing, and Honda Rune. If you have these bikes, specify the wide axle version (Stinger Wide) - currently at no extra cost to you! We also have a shorter 93 inch version which is designed for hauling scooters, mid-size sport bikes, and will also accomodate Harley Sportsters and other mid-size bikes. We suggest measuring the length of your bike from font wheel to back, and if under 93 inches you can get the Stinger 93; but remember, but for most bikes except maybe a scooter, the standard Stinger is just fine, and for the heaviest bikes the Stinger Wide is what you want (sorry however, no Boss Hosses). This is the most versatile single bike motorcycle trailer made and we should be able to adapt it to haul any bike with a standard wheel base and tire size.

If you have an 1800 Honda, Goldwing or Valkyrie Rune, please specify, currently the price is the same, but the trailer for these bikes uses a 4 inch wider axle, and won't fit in a some SUVs when folded (standard width is 48 inches, wide axle version is 52 inches wide)
Wiring Harness: The trailer comes wired to connect to your car or truck with the standard 4 wire flat plug
Hitch: The Stinger trailer does not use a ball coupler. The trailer comes with a swivel hitch pin attached to the end of the tongue. The hitch pin is inserted in the round hole in the tow plate where you would normally bolt your trailer ball to. The mounting height of this hole needs to be no more than 12 inches off the ground. A class 1 receiver type hitch is the minimum needed for this trailer loaded. The pin inserts into the hole where the ball mounts (comes with bushing if you have the large hole in the hitch).
One person can safely load a motorcycle and secure the tie-downs
The Stinger's design allows one person to simply lift the hitch assembly and tongue with a single motion, and the trailer unfolds to fully extended length
Two pins insert and secure the hinged portions of the trailer
Suspension is provided from the 6 ply tires and the motorcycle's suspension
The wheels have 8 inch diameter rims with 18 inch diameter x 6 inch wide tires that are load range C and are rated for extended freeway use.

The Stinger Folding Trike Trailer
Comes standard as shown with fenders
Can haul a trike up to 117 inches in length and 63 inches wide (this is the maximum width between the trailer fenders)
Minimum ground clearance on bike required to load is approximately 4 inches
The above recommended ground clearance is when both the trailer and tow vehicle are on a level or slightly uphill grade, or both the trailer and tow vehicle are on level ground and trailer has been raised up at a slight angle using the hitch.
When loading, again 4 inches of ground clearance under the bike is recommended. If you have a Honda Valkyrie or other bike with an air kit in it, you may have to raise your air kit up all the way or higher than the normal ride setting to load and unload the bike. (Note: we have found that BMW and Honda Goldwing Motorcycles with the Champion Trike Kits have no clearance problems).
