The Stinger Motorcycle Trailer can solve many of the problems you have if you need a trailer. One person can easily fold and unfold the Stinger Trailer in seconds. The trailer is low to the ground so you can load your bike by yourself, when you are done with the trailer it folds up small enough you can store it almost anywhere. If you have a topper or flat box lid, fold the Stinger up and hide it out of the way in your pickup bed, (folded height is 22 inches), and so it can stay hidden and out of the way when not in use, preventing any theft, and giving you more room at the campground or racetrack. When you are home, the compact size takes up minimum space in your garage.

Integrated Hitch, Hitch Stem Inserts Into Hole In Bumper Hitch Or Receiver Hitch Insert, No Hitch Ball Needed

The Stinger trailer's unique integrated hitch requires you to remove the ball from either the tow plate on your bumper or from the insert in your receiver hitch. The stem of the trailer hitch goes down through the hole in the tow plate or receiver hitch insert. You may have to have a bumper hitch stepdown or receiver hitch insert with a drop down to tow this trailer because it is so low to the ground. The maximum height that the tow plate or top of the receiver hitch insert can be is 12 inches; taller than that and you will need a step down to bring it to a level position.

The trailer has a width of 52 inches and is wide enough and stable enough to tow most bikes including the 1800 Honda, the Goldwing, And Honda Rune. The trailer is long enough for most bikes excluding long custom choppers.

  • Trailer holds 1 bike, large cruisers, sportbikes, Sportsters, etc., works with the majority of all motorcycles


  • The Stinger trailer uses an automatic style wheel chock with a wheel cradle that holds the back of the tire; should work on all bikes. Standard fairings and body work should not be a problem; may not clear non-factory full race body work.


  • Has a 3500 lb. axle with Sure-Lube(R) bearings


  • Trailer weighs 190 lbs.


  • Tongue weight with a full dress road bike is approximately 175 lbs., (if bike weighs about 850 lbs.)


  • Standard color is black, custom colors available as an option - see below


  • Dimensions: Unfolded - maximum cargo length is 103 inches long, trailer is 12 inches high at the hitch (you need to have a drop extension to lower your hitch down to 12 inches to the trailer remains level), x 52 inches wide outside wheel to outside wheel, total length is approximately 123 inches with endgate up in transport position.


  • Dimensions: Folded - total length is approximately 48 inches, width is 52 inches. The folded height is 22.0 inches


  • Standard trailer color is black, has a powder coat finish. Custom colors are available, contact us for details


  • Wiring Harness: The trailer comes wired to connect to your car or truck with the standard 4 wire flat plug


  • Hitch: The Stinger trailer does not use a ball coupler. The trailer comes with a swivel hitch pin attached to the end of the tongue. The hitch pin is inserted in the round hole in the tow plate where you would normally bolt your trailer ball to. The mounting height of this hole needs to be no more than 12 inches off the ground. A class 1 receiver type hitch is the minimum needed for this trailer loaded. The pin inserts into the hole where the ball mounts (comes with bushing if you have the large hole in the hitch).


  • One person can safely load a motorcycle and secure the tie-downs


  • The Stinger's design allows one person to simply lift the hitch assembly and tongue with a single motion, and the trailer unfolds to fully extended length


  • Two pins insert and secure the hinged portions of the trailer


  • Suspension is provided from the 6 ply tires and the motorcycle's suspension


  • The wheels have 8 inch diameter rims with 18 inch diameter x 6 inch wide tires that are load range C and are rated for extended freeway use.


  • Maximum recommended loaded towing speed is 55 mph


  • Fenders are now standard equipment


  • Unit comes with tailights
