Welder Positioner
The WP-1800 Welding Positioner holds tubing and solid stock in place and can turn the material for welding around the circumference of the material. The unit uses a 8 inch capacity three jaw lathe style chuck to hold material in place: holds material up to 8 inches OD; and up to 10.25 inches ID; and 1/4 inch minimum ID; and has a thru-hole to accomodate up to 2 1/2 inch diameter material. The head can be turned and used both vertically and horizontally with a 250 lb. weight capacity for the horizontal plane and 200 lbs. for materials held vertically. Chuck can be rotated variable speed from 0 to 6 rpm with power from the 110v electric motor.

- Chuck is an 8 inch capacity 3 jaw style (8 inch maximum OD capacity) for schedule 40 mild steel pipe, and up to 10 1/4 inch ID clamping on aluminum tubing and down to 1/4 inch OD on mild steel tubing. Chuck as 2 1/2 inch through hole for long pieces of tubing.
