SG Series Tractor Mounted Stump Grinders

The SG Series Tractor Mounted, PTO Powered Stump Grinders are economical units designed for small and medium sized tractors (although Model SG-36 is rated for 100 hp maximum), and works well for most jobs. Both models have a maximum cutting depth below ground of 10 inches. There are 2 two-way cylinders on the unit (swing and up and down cylinder), requiring 2 auxilliary hydraulic valves (so you can plug in 4 hoses). The unit operates off of the hydraulic controls you already have on your tractor. If you do not have 2 auxilliary hydraulic valves, you can purchase your own diverter valve, or the optional electric one we have listed in the accessories section below.

• An economical and efficient pto powered stump grinder has a cutting wheel designed for higher productivity and a smooth cutting action



• Durable carbide tipped cutting teeth are easy to replace



• Unit is controlled using the hydraulic controls on your tractor. This unit has 2, two-way cylinders so you need to be able to plug in 4 hoses. If you only have 1 hydraulic outlet on your tractor (only able to plug in 2 hoses), then you will either need to supply a mechanical or electric type diverter valve so you can switch the hydraulic flow back and forth between the two cylinders. We have an electric solenoid valve available and listed below. If you want less expensive, a manually operated diverter valve these are less expensive.



• Hardened bushings used in the major pivot points for increased reliability



• Grease zerks provided at major pivot points for extended service life



• Standard needle valve for precise control of cutting feed rate for best cutting action (control of flow rate to swing cylinder), wheel rpm is controlled by pto speed



• SureFoot stabilizer bar provides solid footing during operation



• Rubber deflector helps control chips and debris during grinding



• Parking stand for easy storage is standard










• Model WOSG-26: Tractor mounted, pto powered stump grinder, minimum pto hp required is 22, and maximum is 50 hp, maximum horizontal cut is 28 inches (without moving the tractor), cutting depth below ground is 10 inches, wt. is 660 lbs. - Price is $5564.00 delivered (price includes shipping to commercial and residential addresses with normal delivery access in the U.S. 48 states, other addresses require extra shipping cost), ships by truck



• Model WOSG-36: Tractor mounted, pto powered stump grinder, minimum tractor hp required is 45 pto hp, and maximum is 100 pto hp, maximum horizontal cut is 33 inches (without moving the tractor), cutting depth below ground is 10 inches, wt. is 880 lbs., has slip clutch protection on driveline - Price is $6449.00 delivered (price includes shipping to commercial and residential addresses with normal delivery access in the U.S. 48 states, other addresses require addtional shipping cost), ships by truck

• Model MP215: Manual 6-way selector valve (left photo below), if you don't have 2 sets of hydraulic valves (so you can plug in 4 hoses), then this valve allows you to split off from 1 auxilliary outlet to run either the raising/lowering cylinder or the swing cylinder from the control on your tractor using this valve to divert the hydraulic flow between the cylinders. If you do not have a joystick control for the auxilliary outlet on your tractor (it's just always on, then contact us), wt. is 8 lbs. - Price is $149.00 delivered, ships by UPS



• Model MP174: 12 volt solenoid 6-way selector valve (right photo below), same function as above, allows you to split off and run 2 cylinders from 1 auxilliary valve on tractor, but using this electric valve instead of a manual valve with joystick (MP150), wt. 6 lbs. - Price is $345.00 delivered (ships by UPS)
