Model SSPU York Skid Steer Loader Mounted Sweeper

The Model SSPU York Sweeper mounts on your skid steer loader or tractor loader using the universal skid steer loader quick attach standard. The unit has its own integrated dirt/debris container that is part of the unit and attaches the sweeper to the loader arms just like your bucket does. The model SSPU is hydraulically powered, and has an optional gutter brush available. The model SSPU is available either 5 ft. or 6 ft. wide.

  • Features - Model SSPU Skid Steer Loader Mounted Sweeper


  • Hydraulic drive is standard, equipped with a gerotor type hydraulic motor for smooth, reliable performance, York provides hydraulic hoses to the mounting frame


  • Caster wheels are standard, used to assist the broom in following ground contours


  • Optional gutter brush is available, allows the sweeper to brush up against curbs and in tight spots, the gutter brush may be mounted on either leading edge of the broom


  • An optional flow control is also available to control the speed of the gutter brush for loaders that have hydraulic flows exceeding 25 gpm, this is a needed accessory if the hydraulic flow is above 25 gpm, otherwise gutter brush will spin too fast.

  • Drive: Gerotor type hydraulic motor


  • Hydraulic Requirements: 12-25 gpm, 1800-2250 PSI, 180 degrees F maximum allowable oil temperature (oil cooler may be required)


  • Frame: mounts to skid steer quick attachment systems, proper mounting plate provided, specify Skid Steer make and model when ordering, frame is electrically welded steel


  • Sweeper has integrated dirt container, that swings open and dumps when you lift the unit up and tilt it


  • Caster wheels are standard


  • Broom: 5 ft. or 6 ft. widths available, uses 24" diameter brush sections, 5 ft. model has 34 sections, 6 ft. model has 39 sections, polypropylene convoluted brush sections are standard, crimped wire or a 50/50 combination can be supplied at no additional cost, broom section is adjustable up and down to accommodate wear
