The Mclane Trim-N-Edger

The Mclane Trim-N-Edger can be used as a standard edger and by pulling on the angling lever, the edger converts to a horizontal mower type cutter to cut around posts or get into hard to reach areas. These edgers are available in 3 and 4 wheel models with Briggs And Stratton engines. The Trim-N-Edger has many unique features including the finger tip angle adjustment allowing you to angle the blade to cut along obstacles, and if needed you can turn the cutting head completely horizontal; 4 wheel design on most models, and a low center of gravity for increased stability.

• Precision machined cutter head mounted on hardened and ground shaft with specially designed front pulley



• Command post controls for starting, speed operation, stopping, and clutch control



• All steel construction on edger frame



• Split second conversion to trimmer, trims flat at any height, around posts, or other hard to reach areas



• Models with 4 wheels are best choice for edging on curbs, all models are low profile for maximum stability



• Units are 90 percent self-propelled - edger pulls itself away from the operator in a straight path, edges over 100 ft. per minute



• Single lever control sets blade depth and disengages blade from rotating when starting or after each operation, lever is mounted up on handle for easy reach by operator



• Easy finger tip angle adjustment - blade moves from vertical edging position to horizontal trimming position in seconds with positive spring lock lever



• Semi-enclosed blade guard with ricochet shield



• Right hand rotation of blade insures positive locking of fine thread blade shaft nut



• Has total belt guarding to meet safety standards



• Semi-enclosed guard and debris deflector for cleaner edging



• Cutter head tilts to any angle - makes it easy to angle-cut flower beds, and tirm along walls and under fences

• Curb Wheel Kit 2101 is available for either model, works on all Mclane models that have either a 7 inch or 8 inch wheel; this WILL NOT work on any older models with 6" wheels.
