Tractor Mounted Log Grapples And Log Winches And Trailer Mounted Log Hauler With Grapple Arm

We offer one model of Tractor Mounted Log Grapple, and two models of Skid Steer Loader Mounted Grapples and three models of Log Skids With Winches, and logging trailers with a hydraulically powered log grapple. For the first time, there is now heavy duty logging equipment available for the property owner or for government agencies, or commerical loggers that can be used on small and medium sized tractors to get to hard to reach areas that aren't haven't been cleared. The grapple claw connects to your tractor's hydraulic system to operate; the grapple can rotate in either direction but is spring centered to help keep the logs straight when lifting and dragging them. The grapple can be used to remove logs from tight areas, and then used to load or position logs for pick up.

Logging Winches



We also have three models of log skids with winch which can be used to winch out logs that you can't get to with the grapple, and/or to drag out several logs at a time over longer distances. The skidding wenches come with 165 ft. of either 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch diameter cable (depending upon model), with a 6500 lb., 9000 lb., and 12,000 lb. capacity depending upon the model.

• Your tractor's 540 rpm pto operates the winch to rewind the cable and pull the log up against the frame for transport




• All Models include safety shield as shown above




• The upper pulley guide keeps the cable on the pulley, and prevents the keyhole sliders from jamming under the cable





  
• The winch cable runs through an upper and lower snatchblock on all FX models for a more efficient and safer pull. The top pulley provides a high entry point, forcing down-pressure onto the blade and lifting the logs. The lower pivoting snatchblock keeps the weight low, especially important for smaller tractors. On the larger models, the lower snatchblock is vertically adjustable for the perfect balance of efficiency and lift, the cable can be slipped under the snatch block pulley with no disassembly. The lower snatch is adjustable vertically on the FX90 And FX120 models.



• Even at severe angles the cable runs smoothly on the pulley




• Heavy duty clutch for longevity, replaceable clutch pads allow for rebuilding if ever necessary



• Clutch assembly has built in drum brake to keep drum from free wheeling, yet releases as soon as cable is pulled out by hand. This mechanism also guides the cable when coiling.



• The clutch control rope swivels 360 degrees for operation of any side, clutch is released by pulling on the clutch rope



• Notched lower beam allows skidding chains to be hooked to winch for skidding several logs at once




• Along the top of the anchor blade is a tow bar with slots designed to keep chains secure during travel. Hook up multiple logs to skid out of the woods while keeping the winch free.



• Drawbar is included for transporting a wagon or other equipment



• Flexible aircraft cable with clamped on hook allows for in field repairs




• At the end of the winch cable are three keyhole sliders that slide along the cable. Keyhole sliders and choker chains are ideal for winching multiple logs together, saving you time and energy. Each chained log is attached to a keyhole slider which gathers together as you began to winch.

• Timber Talon Log Trailer With Hydraulic Loading Grapple




The Timber Talon is a log trailer (available with either lug style tires shown, or radial tires), and the hydraulically powered log grapple. The grapple attachment can be eitehr powered by your tractor's hydraulic system, or by a self-contained system with gasoline engine. A complete unit consists of three components: The WLLX100 Boom/Grapple Assembly, your choice of either the WLL101 or WLL501 Power Pack Kit, and either choice of the WLLT40 or WLHT40 log trailer. All components are priced separately as shown below.


• Log grapple has a lifting capacity of 1200 lbs., total load capacity of trailer is 4900 lbs.



• The Timber Talon is the easiest way to transport large, heavy logs for firewood or the sawmill.



• The boom and grapple quickly and easily pick up logs within a 10 ft. radius and gently stack them on the trailer



• The logs are firmly cradled on the trailer for travelling on long, rough trails








• A complete unit consists of the boom and grapple (Part. WLLX100), plus 1 of either of the two trailer options, plus 1 of either of the two powerpack options



• Part 1 of a complete set - The Boom/Grapple Assembly



• Model WLLX100: Boom/Grapple Assembly, consists of the 10 ft. long articulated boom assembly with the log grapple assembly. Boom/Grapple assembly has a lift capacity of 1200 lbs. • Log trailer is the main component of the system and is available in two versions: Model WLLT40 trailer has 25 x 12 x 12 8 ply lugged tires with high tensile steel construction; model WLHT40 has 205/75R14 radial tires with high tensile steel construction, and has electric brakes on both axles.



• Model WLLT40: 7,000 lb. capacity log trailer (actual log weight capacity is 4900 lbs. when the trailer has the boom/grapple assembly mounted to the trailer), this trailer has 25 x 12 x 12 lugged 8 ply tires with high tensile steel construction, trailer weight is 1281 lbs.
