Today's cars are getting smaller, so the Aerodyne, Dart, XL, and Slipstream trailers are also perfect for pulling behind your small car. To pull these units behind your car, you will need specify this at time of purchase as it is required to change out the amber turnsignal lights to red, and either wire the trailer with a 4 wire plug or an adapter. Let us know what you will tow the trailers with. All these items are listed in the accessories list below. Note: because of the integrated tail lights on the XLHD and XL1800 these unit's lights can not be changed, and cannot be towed with a car. For dual use, the Dart, Aerodyne, or Slipstream can be modified.

XL HD Trailer With Harley Davidson Style Tail Lights

Also now available are the XLHD and XL 1800 cargo trailers. These units feature another stylish design to give you even more choices of cargo trailers to match up with the style of virtually any bike and the needs of virtually everyone. Both the XLHD and XL1800 use the same body but the XLHD uses a rectangular integrated tail light as shown. The XL1800 uses the same tail lights as the Honda Goldwing motorcycle; if you would like that style or need the trailer to match the look of the Goldwing, then the XL1800 is for you. Note: Because of the integrated wrap around tail lights on the XLHD and XL1800, the tail lights on these units cannot be changed to be legally towed behind a car (needs all red lights).

All the models listed above have a fiberglass cargo box with a powder coated steel perimeter frame and a torsion suspension system. All models have a gloss gelcoat finish in black or white standard which can be used as is; there is also the option of having the trailers painted to color match your bike.

The Dart trailer gives you 18 cubic feet of storage space, the XL models 24 cubic feet, the Aerodyne 26 cubic feet, and the Slipstream 38 cubic feet. All models easily connect to your bikes's hitch with a 1 7/8 inch ball coupler and are lightweight and easy to tow (heaviest trailer is 210 lbs. empty). Several options are available on each trailer including 1 and 2 color, paint match; in addition, and the Slipstream model can be equiped as a single sleeper camper. Canadian customers please note: these trailers are also certified for use in Canada, and the inspection fee normally required for a U.S. manufactured trailer is not required.

These trailers can be pulled behind either a motorcycle or small car. Please note: They are wired with a 5 wire plug that connects to the wiring harness pigtail provided with the trailer that attaches to the motorcycle. The trailers use amber lenses for turn signals. To be able to easily pull these using either wiring connection you need to specify at the time you order a new unit that you want to tow this with a car. You will need to have red colored lights for the turn signals when you connect to a 4 wire harness connector. On a new trailer we will change these out and provide an adapter if needed so you can pull the unit with both a car or a bike.

If you already have a trailer and want to now pull it with a car, you will need to purchase a set of lights on the campers, and on the Dart cargo trailers as these both have oblong tail lights. You can just replace the lenses on the Slipstream and Aerodyne as they are round, and these lenses may be available locally at autoparts stores and truck stops.

If you are converting a trailer you already have, you will also need to purchase a 4 to 5 wire adapter plug, from us, and have the 4 wire plug already wired on your car or pickup. Slipstream Camper Insert Option - Sleeps 1 Person, Set Up And Ready In Seconds

Camper package is designed to sleep one person, quickly and easily. You open the lid that raises the tent canvas. The camper insert comes with the sleeping deck with foam mattress. The sleeping deck is 72 inches long (if you are taller than 6 ft. you will have to bend your legs). The width in the sleeping area is 42 inches. This is the easiest to use one person camper available; and the area below the sleeping deck can still be used for storage. The Slipstream without the camper package has 38 cubic feet of space, with the camping package you have 18 cubic feet below the sleeping deck; you can add an additional 6 cubic feet on top of the sleeping deck of you need to use that space also.

Hint: If you lose the instructions and don't know how to wire the pig tail on the bike, on a new trailer, the wires are as follows: Pin 1 yellow wire - left turn signal; Pin 2 green wire - right turn signal; Pin 3 brown wire - running lights; pin 4 red wire - brake lights; pin 5 white wire - ground. If the unit is used and the lights don't work after you have wired the pig tail that goes on the bike, then pull both plugs apart and make sure both sets of wires match on each end.
